MARINA Marina Admiral
Marina Admiral is located in the centre of Opatija, right next to the Admiral Hotel. The town of Opatija, situated in the Gulf of Kvarner, is a popular summer and winter resort. It is renowned as the cradle of elite tourism in Croatia and one of the first coastal spa resorts in the Adriatic. Opatija is well connected with major European cities such as Munich, Vienna, Budapest, Milan and Venice, which are approximately 6 hours’ drive away. It is also in close proximity to motorways and local and international airports in Zagreb, Trieste and Ljubljana. Marina Admiral offers good shelter in all wind conditions. However, strong bura and jugo winds, which here blow from the east, can create many waves. So, be careful when approaching the marina during strong bura or jugo. The marina is open all year round.

Useful Information
Marina Admiral is a part of the Remisens Hotel Admiral, which is ideal for boaters and sailors looking for a 4-star accommodation. The hotel offers plenty of excellent facilities: outdoor pool with sun deck directly above the sea, saunas, indoor pool, fitness centre, restaurant etc. Other facilities, such as ambulance, pharmacy, post office, bus station, souvenir shops, supermarkets, cafes, nightclubs and cocktail bars can be found in the town centre, which is just a short walk away from the marina.
The marina is often crowded, but if there is space for mooring, be careful at the entrance because the water is shallow around the breakwater’s head. The depth of the sea near the breakwater is around 3 and 4 m, and at the end of pontoon around 2.5 and 3.5 m.
Gas station and port authority are located in Opatija harbour, just 0.5 nautical miles to the north.
