About us
Starting on the island of Hvar in October 2011, the Total Croatia project aims to cover various aspects of life in Croatia for an English-speaking audience, with a daily supply of high quality, independent and informative articles, delivered in an entertaining style.
The project has several destination websites – Hvar, Split, Inland Dalmatia, Zagreb and Medjugorje, all of which are hosted on the main website, Total Croatia News (www.total-croatia-news.com). There are also other individual websites – Total Croatia Wine, Total Croatia Cycling, Total Croatia Dental and Total Slovenia News.
The Total Project is owned by Brit Paul Bradbury, who moved to Hvar in 2002 and currently lives with his family in Varazdin County. The philosophy of the project can be described in five words – Give People What They Want.
The websites are run by a growing number of local and international contributors, more than 80 in total, a nice mix of local, expats and diaspora, who are all keen to write about their corner of Croatia. We welcome high quality submissions as long as they are Croatia-related. Please contact us at news@total-croatia-news.com if you would like to contribute.
Total Croatia Sailing is the latest addition to the project, and perhaps our most ambitious yet. As Croatia rightfully takes its place as one of the premier sailing destinations in Europe, Total Croatia Sailing aims to bring the magic of the Adriatic to that growing sailing audience. The site is a mix of practical information, destination guides, interviews, features and live updates from the Adriatic.
We welcome constructive criticism, as well as contributions from all over the Adriatic, so please contact us. We hope you enjoy the site and your sailing experience in Croatia.
See you on the Adriatic!
