ACI marina has done it again!

The ACI marina in Dubrovnik will now offer its guests the opportunity to use a unique golf driving range and miniature golf course, once again confirming their status as a leader in providing excellent and innovative services at their marinas, reports HRTurizam on June 1, 2017.

The first marina to offer such unique content to its guests, ACI Dubrovnik constructed the golf range based on the “Golf Range Concept,” a driving range with artificial turf that is the size of a tennis court. An original concept that makes golfing accessible to all, the Golf Range Concept consists of a miniature golf course and driving range that includes all of the elements of a professional golf course for the more experienced golfers, but also an exercise ground intended for beginners.

The golf ground includes a putting green with six holes, a sand bunker, a chipping green for short play, practice nets for exercising long strikes, and a mini golf course with nine different holes. The golf range was built on the surface of one tennis court and is 600-800 m2. In its construction, the most current materials and artificial grass were used which will allow the training ground to be open year-round.

Guests will have professional golf equipment at their disposal including Dunlop sets with the appropriate golf clubs for right and left handers, ladies and gentlemen, and special sets for children by age groups. All equipment needed for miniature golf will also be available to guests, and everything will be included in the price for an hour of play. Lessons will also be possible with the help of golf animators.

“The new golf content at the ACI marina in Dubrovnik is intended for all of our nautical guests who want to spend their time at the marina actively, with golf or mini golf as an option to entertain their company or the whole family. Many of them will leave richer with the knowledge of a new sport, which will, we believe, be an experience that will become popularized on our coast. ACI marinas strive to be unique, diverse, versatile and accessible to all of our guests,” emphasized ACI, who added that they are proud of this investment in Dubrovnik and are looking forward to opening their doors to visitors eager to use the new sports facility.

The Golf Range Concept at the ACI marina Dubrovnik is an example of a pilot project that will continue in other ACI marinas they see fit.
