Boat on Sale! Price? Pay What You Will

They say that owning a ship is a luxury, but on the island of Murter things seem to be a little different.

Buying a boat doesn’t have to cost an arm and a leg, judging by the ad posted on the satirical Facebook page “The Daily Dose of Average Dalmatian” (Dnevna doza prosječnog Dalmatinca) on October 11, 2017, that states: “Prodaje se (Koliko daš)”, which roughly translates as: “On sale (PWYW – pay what you want).

When it comes to buying a boat, the right price is hard to come by – the one that will make both the seller happily count the money and the buyer jump with joy thinking he got off cheap. Well, one man decided to sell his boat by setting the ultimately ‘right price’ for the buyer, which is the one set by the buyer himself.

So, have you always wanted to get a boat and sail around the islands? Do you enjoy fishing or just spending time at sea? Well, if you have time and money to invest in some repair work, this boat could be your ticket to your new way of life.
