Art Along the Coast: Vasko Lipovac Selected Artworks in Tisno

The Municipality of Tisno and the Library in Tisno, in cooperation with the Vasko Lipovac Atelier, are organizing an exhibition of the selected works by Vasko Lipovac, reports Morski.hr.

The exhibition will take place at the Pastoral-Cultural Center Baganelovica in Jezera on the island of Murter, where visitors will be able to see paintings and sculptures of Vasko Lipovac, one of the most prominent names of the Croatian 20th and early 21st-century art scene.

The opening of the exhibition is scheduled for Saturday, July 15 at 9 p.m. at the Pastoral-Cultural Center. The representatives of Tisno Municipality and the Vasko Lipovac Atelier will attend the opening ceremony, along with actor Slavko Juraga, who will read the text of the professor Ivo Šimat Banova, a personal friend of the artist and one of the curators of the exhibition.

A number of art workshops for kids will also be organized. The exact time and place of the workshops will be announced by organisers via the official website of the Tisno Municipality, Tisno Library and the Pastoral-Cultural Center Baganelovica.

The design of the exhibition is done by a renowned graphic artist from Šibenik – Ante Filipović Grčić of 2FG studio.

The exhibition will be opened for a month, until August 15.
